Residents from around Denton County are asked to nominate their favorite businesses right here on our website. There are 400 categories to nominate in. All that is needed is a valid email address to vote. And here’s what makes this even better – to ensure that there’s no fraudulent voting, each vote is counted only once per email address and IP address. This means that the Best of Denton County truly represents what our community values and loves.

We ensure accurate voting tracking for Best of Denton County through reliable third-party software. Each vote is meticulously counted, and our system allows only one vote from a single IP address and one unique email address. This stringent process guarantees fairness and authenticity. Please note that additional votes from the same IP address or email address are not considered in the final results. Your voice matters, and we’ve taken every measure to maintain the integrity of the voting process.

If a resident has to travel to you, the business must be located within Denton County. If your business travels to the resident, then the business can be located outside of Denton County.

Winners and Top 3 finalists receive a complimentary listing on our website. But that’s not all! You can take it a step further by transforming your listing into a hyperlink that directs to your own website.

There are over 400 categories to choose from, which sure is a lot! We try to limit the number of categories listed so residents don’t get overwhelmed by the sheer number of categories they can vote for. However, we always take suggestions for new categories. You can fill out your suggestions by clicking the button below. The category suggestion deadline for 2026 is May 10. All entries received after this date will be considered for inclusion in 2027.

You can vote for as many businesses in as many categories as you would like.
Our system only counts 1 vote per email and IP address. After voting closes on August 14th, a third-party system tallies the votes for each business in every category.
Winners will be announced on August 26.
